This year, our Old-Fashioned Fourth event will be raising money for our favorite neighbors, Vogel Alcove. Vogel Alcove is an early childhood center located directly across the street from the Park that provides extraordinary childcare and services to Dallas homeless children. Last year, the park raised $2,500 for Vogel Alcove & we want to beat our record! A portion of every ticket sold goes to benefit our wonderful neighbors & Vogel families always attend this event for free as our special VIPs!

Looking for some family fun on the 4th? Come and visit the park for our Old-Fashioned Fourth event! Break out your bikes, trikes, and scooters for our All-Join-In Parade. We will have games and fun for the whole family!
Fun included in every ticket is:
wet slide, dry slide, games, crafts, tattoos, face painting, a tiny train, and free Kona Ice!
We will also have food trucks, local vendors, cold drinks in our saloon, and East Dallas 4-H selling apple pie!

11am : All Join In Parade – bring your decorated, bikes, trikes, scooters, and wagons to join our special parade kid-led parade! All ages welcome!
11:30 : Talk by acclaimed storyteller Michael Brundy
4pm : Doors Close
